LEBANON

2019

Borderless has been working with Syrian refugee children in Beirut since 2015. The organization seeks to create an educational opportunity for these children who have no access to formal education. They hold vocational workshops with the aim of training them and providing a chance at a sustainable source of income. They have integrated a music class into the learning centre curriculum – to enhance the children’s creativity and imagination, develop their self-confidence, explore hidden talents, overcome trauma and learn the discipline and responsibility that comes with music.

2018

Borderless has been working with Syrian refugee children since 2015 in an area in Beirut where many refugees live. The organization’s objective is to create an educational opportunity for these children who have no access to formal education. Vocational workshops are offered with the aim of training them and providing a chance at a sustainable source of income. The project is to create 3-month computer skills training workshops. Everything is in place (instructors, room, etc.) but they require the hardware – 10 laptops.
