INDESCO (Iniciativas de Educacion Superior y Complementaria) is an NGO committed to socio-educational development. It contributes to infrastructure and training, mostly in the La Vega Province. Funds were used for training in the transformation of fresh produce into artisanal preserves and bread, in entrepreneurship, hygiene and food handling, fundamentals of bakery and pastry – to promote microenterprises by women. Income of the project will be invested in a scholarship fund for beneficiaries.

2018

INDESCO is a NGO committed to socio-educational development which contributes to infrastructure and training, mostly in the La Vega Province. The project seeks to develop bell pepper marmalade as an income generating activity for local young girls. Proceeds will finance scholarships for trainees. A vegetable processor, bottle filler and lid closure apparatus will be purchased.
