2019

The Luis Gamboa Araya School is a small school in Vuelta de Kooper, Alajuela Province, catering for the needs of 65 pupils from very low income families working in dairy farms and fruit plantations. It rains heavily and almost throughout the year in the area where the school is located. The purpose of the project is to protect children from the rain when they move between the structures and when they use the multipurpose space. Funds were used for the roofing over an area of about 88 square meters and eaves extension over a multipurpose space for cultural activities and sports.

2018

Escuela Viento Fresco is a school for over 250 students, aged 4 to 14, mostly from poor Nicaraguan families. The project aims to equip a classroom with audiovisual equipment, purchasing chairs, tables, projector, projection screen and laptop computer.
