In line with its mission to empower women and support disadvantaged children, the UNWG Geneva—together with Permanent Missions accredited to the United Nations, UNOG, the City and Canton of Geneva, and the business community—organises the annual UNWG International Bazaar.

This vibrant event raises vital funds to assist women and children in need around the world. Over the years, the Bazaar has become a landmark event for both the local and international communities, drawing large numbers of visitors and raising significant funds for charitable causes.

For one day, participating countries come together at the historic Palais des Nations, transforming its halls into a global marketplace. Visitors embark on a cultural journey spanning continents—discovering the ancient traditions of Asia and South America, the lively souks of Africa, the bustling bazaars of the Middle East, the markets of Europe, and the rich diversity of the Americas.

Throughout the day, Permanent Missions sell traditional crafts and cuisine, while side events showcase national music, dance, and artistic heritage.

A highlight of the Bazaar is its grand lottery, featuring a wide array of exceptional prizes. Additionally, UNWG presents its own initiatives and handcrafted products, offering visitors the chance to learn more about the organisation’s impactful work.
