The UNWG Geneva scholarship programme is dedicated to helping children complete their secondary education. Funded through the UNWG Children’s Walk and other ad hoc initiatives, the programme supports students whose parents are unable to afford school fees, as well as orphaned children. It provides financial assistance for education and vocational training, supporting defined cohorts of students for up to five years.
To date, the UNWG Geneva has helped students in over 20 countries complete their schooling. Applications for scholarship support are submitted by a UNWG Geneva member. Each application is assessed by the Projects Sub-Committee, and funding allocations are approved by the UNWG Executive Committee.
