Hiking Group: Snowshoeing Adventure Celebrating Winter Holidays & International Mountain Day ❄️

Snowshoeing was the perfect way for the UNWG Hiking Group to celebrate the winter holidays and International Mountain Day on December 11, bringing together both new and long-time members.

We enjoyed the exquisite experience of stepping onto fresh, pristine snow while marveling at forest trees adorned in sparkling white layers. The vast plateaus of the Jura, shrouded in milky fog and blanketed with soft snow, offered a magical setting. Frosty grasses in the meadows, resembling elegant winter ikebana, added an artistic touch to the landscape. Our cheerful group brought joy to the serene surroundings, making the hike even more delightful.

The festivities continued at Restaurant Basse Ruche, where we enjoyed a warm atmosphere with festive decorations and delicious winter dishes. It was truly a marvelous start to the holiday season!
