The Children’s Walk is an annual event, traditionally organized on the premises of the UN in Geneva, fostering a sense of unity, community engagement and instilling in our youth the importance of charitable endeavours. Through the Children’s Walk initiative, the UNWG raises funds for its Scholarship program, which provides financial support to disadvantaged secondary school students. Due to ongoing renovations at the UNOG as part of its Strategic Heritage Plan, we are unable to organize the Walk on the grounds of the UN yet another year. Therefore, once again, the six international schools will organize mini–Children Walk on their premises and we will host a ceremony to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments on Tuesday 13th May at 10h at The Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room (former Room XX) which goes great with years Children´s Walk theme Peace for Children .

We are looking forward to another successful Children’s Walk and the chance to work with esteemed schools to make a difference in the lives of children in need while simultaneously promoting a better future living together in peace.
