UNWG Coffee Morning- 6 October

6 October 2026

The United Nations Women’s Guild hosted a Coffee Morning at the Palais des Nations, offering members an opportunity to meet the newly elected Executive Committee.

The gathering also marked the transition of the Presidency from Ajkuna Thanati to Bernadette Daelmans mid-October 2026. Ajkuna addressed the members, reflecting on her time as President and expressing her continued support for the Guild and its new leadership.

The newly elected members of the Executive Committee introduced themselves to the Guild, giving members the opportunity to meet the future team.

The introductions were followed by an opportunity for members to ask questions, share ideas and make suggestions to the new committee.

It was a warm and convivial gathering, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the United Nations Women’s Guild.
