DESCRIPTION:Dear Members and Friends\,\n\nWe are delighted to invite you to an Afternoon Tea and a guided visit of the Laurent Ballesta exhibition\, which will replace our usual October Coffee Morning.\n\nTime: Monday\, October 6\, 2:00 PM\nVenue: ArTypique Galerie\, 22 rue Jacques-Dalphin\, 1227 Carouge\n\nThis friendly gathering will be a chance to enjoy a guided tour of the exhibition\, followed by a homemade treat of mini financiers and other sweet delights\, served with Japanese green tea.\n\nAbout the Artist – Laurent Ballesta\n\nLaurent Ballesta is a renowned underwater photographer\, marine biologist\, and French explorer known for his breathtaking images of the deep sea. He is the founder of the Gombessa expeditions\, which combine scientific research with artistic creation.\n\nHis work showcases rare species and inaccessible underwater landscapes\, captured with both technical mastery and artistic sensitivity. He collaborates regularly with National Geographic and has won the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year award multiple times.\n\nBallesta is also the author of numerous books and documentaries\, and his work invites us to reflect on the beauty and fragility of the marine world.\n\n About the Gallery – ArTypique Galerie\n\nLocated in Carouge\, ArTypique Galerie was founded in 2018 by Sandrine Berjonneau\, a passionate nature photographer. The gallery is dedicated to artistic photography\, with a special focus on nature\, landscapes\, and travel.\n\nSandrine showcases her own photographic universe and regularly hosts temporary exhibitions by guest artists.
