It is with great pleasure that I have accepted the role of Honorary Co-President of the United Nations Women\u2019s Guild alongside Ms Tatjana Valovaya, Director-General of UN Geneva, in accordance with the Guild\u2019s statutes.
\n \n\nFor many years, the Guild has made a valuable contribution to the reputation of International Geneva by promoting exchanges, mutual support, links between members of the international community, and by supporting disadvantaged children worldwide through the organisation of its annual Bazaar at the Palais des Nations.
\n\n \n\nAt a time when the United Nations is placing equality, inclusion and the full participation of all at the heart of its objectives, I am convinced that the Guild will continue to develop its activities in a spirit of openness, remaining true to the values of dialogue and diversity that characterise Geneva and multilateralism.\n\n \n
